Just
what is Creation Nation? For
the past six years, 5th graders at LCA
fishing, water food chains and star
gazing.
Bible study sessions weaving science and God's word together are
held.
During free time, students participate in canoeing, kayaking, archery,
wall climbing, etc... Each
year students return offering to repeat
5th grade just for the opportunity to return to Creation Nation.

Creation Nation

Creation Nation is a fun place to learn and play. As we went to Creation Nation, I felt like I was a little closer to God. We might feel close to God, now, but wait until you experience it. We learned to rock climb and to catch crayfish. Even one day was not long enough. I think everyone should go to Creation Nation.
The
best part of the trip was when we climbed the rock wall. Your friends
and teachers encouraged you all the way up. And the tennis was fun,
too. You have time to share as a group, all as one. I wish we could
have stayed longer. They also had a lot of fun games to play. At night
we got to look at clusters and galaxies through a big telescope.
Creation Nation

What I liked about Creation Nation was that there were a lot of things I never did before and were very fun. I liked the rock wall because I reached my goal that I made for myself. I liked kayaking up and down the river because I got stuck in seaweed, and I got into water fights with Derrick and Jullian. I liked looking in the telescope and seeing two galaxies and the stars. I liked it when we went on the barge, and we pulled it across the river to the island on the other side where the rock wall was. The most fun thing I enjoyed at Creation Nation was when we hiked to the stream, and we caught a lot of crayfish, snails, leeches, and mayflies.
What
I learned was that God is a big and creative God. I learned to cheer
people on and encourage them. I learned that we should respect others
like God respects us. I learned that all things God made have a
purpose. The best thing I learned was God cares about all of his
creation. I liked Creation Nation a lot because I learned and did a lot
of fun and new things. I want to
go back very soon to learn more about God and His creation.
