On September 7, approximately 250 grandparents gathered for Life Christian Academy’s annual Grandparent’s Day Celebration.  Grandparents and students met for an assembly that included music by the first and second grade classes, poems in honor of grandmothers and grandfathers, and recognition of special grandparents. 

The following guests were recognized:

• Oldest Grandparent – Graham Roche (K4) Great-Grandmother-90 years old 

• Grandparents who traveled the greatest distance to attend - Hannah Adams (2^nd) had two grandmothers come from Michigan.  Spring (K), Payden (2^nd), and Aaron Harris (3^rd)-Grandparents came from Florida. 

• Grandparents with the most children at LCA - Briar (2^nd) and Turner (5^th) Eaton and Kennedy (1^st) and Gabrielle (4^th) Johnson’s grandparents have 4 grand-children at LCA.

 After the assembly, grandparents were given the opportunity to visit their grandchild’s classroom for more special recognitions and refreshments.
