Developing LIFEtime Readers
Life Christian Academy continues to encourage students to
become lifetime readers. In September, students in Kindergarten
through 6th grade set a reading goal and read for 3 weeks to
meet that goal. Eighty-three percent of students were successful
in reaching their individual goal. Kudos to the 2nd, 3rd, and
4th graders for having 100% of their class reach their goal.
Pictured are those who were the winners of the drawing for this
reading challenge:

LCA elementary
students celebrated National Young Reader's Day by
participating in a Read-a-thon.

Several parents came in costume
and read to students. Students paired with partners to
share books and were involved in many special reading
activities.

Thanks to all the teachers for
their organization of the day and to the parents who
participated.
